Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar Sub-district, East Jakarta returns to operate Disaster Post which located at urban village office's parking area.

This is all done to anticipate inundation and flood in our region

Cipinang Melayu Urban Village Head, Agus Sulaeman mentioned, his side re-operated the post as an anticipation of inundation and flood disaster.

"Every day, 10 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Bimas Pol/Babinsa, and PPSU are on standby in this post from 7 PM until 7 AM ," he conveyed, Tuesday (1/12).

This post is equipped with one fiber boat, generator set, 10 life vests, 8 float tires, 50-meter rope, flashlights, and others.

This post also recorded increase in Sunter River's water level and provided information such as flood-prone maps.

Moreover, his side also provided 1 rubber boat at RW 03 and 2 rubber boats at RW 04.

"This is all done to anticipate inundation and flood in our region," he said.
